Job Summary:

NAVBLUE, an Airbus Company, is currently seeking a Head of Ops & Crew Suite to join our growing team. This position is responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction, alignment, and performance of the product line they are in charge of within the NAVBLUE Portfolio. This role ensures the successful execution of investments, alignment with organizational goals, and delivery of value to customers. This individual will coordinate across teams and provide strategic oversight to position the suite for growth and success.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Execution - Vertical Alignment

Scope: NAVBLUE Ops & Crew, and Crew Planning products

  • Defines and executes the strategic roadmap for the vertical to sustain and drive growth and alignment with portfolio objectives.
  • Ensures investments in initiatives are optimized to deliver maximum business value.
  • Aligns the vertical’s goals and initiatives with overall portfolio strategy and transverse verticals priorities.
  • Represents the vertical during portfolio reviews, ensuring clear communication of challenges, opportunities, and progress.
  • Contributes to a consolidated portfolio vision and roadmap while advocating for product-specific needs.

 

Business Owner

    • Leads the definition of Program Increment (PI) objectives, in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) context,  for Ops & Crew Suite initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and feasibility of execution.
    • Represents the business interests and ensures that the Agile Release Train (ART) delivers value aligned with organizational goals.
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery, namely Customer Experience (CX) and Software Factory (SWF) organizations .
    • Participate in the Validation & Verification (V+V) stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

 

Performance Management and Optimization

    • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), including product adoption, customer satisfaction, competition pressure
    • Continuously assesses and improves the Ops + Crew Suite’s performance through data-driven decision-making.
    • Ensures visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes for the vertical.
    • Manages resources, risks, and dependencies effectively.

 

Customer and Market Focus

    • Drives customer-centric strategies by understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the vertical space.
    • Ensures products deliver consistent value, supporting customer satisfaction and retention goals.
    • Coordinates and participates in User Forums, Customer Insight Group, Key Account Development Program and any other customer facing activities in collaboration with the Commercial Office.
    • Drives and coordinates deal management with Commercial office while retaining the consistency within the NAVBLUE Portfolio

 

Collaboration with Partnerships and Vendors

    • Governs relationships with Ops + Crew Suite vendors and technology partners to ensure alignment and value delivery.
    • Fosters partnerships that enhance product capabilities and business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Proven track record in managing Software as a Service (SaaS) products, preferably within a portfolio organization.
    • Strong background in strategic planning, execution, and performance optimization for SaaS solutions.

  • Skills:
    • Strategic thinking and ability to align initiatives with organizational priorities.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI monitoring and data-driven decision-making.
    • Leadership and collaboration skills to work across teams, stakeholders, and partners.
    • Proficiency in Agile/Program Increment (PI) planning frameworks and tools.

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
